KCI Winter Work Policy

WINTER WORK HOURS:

Starting December through mid-February, we will be working on a five(5) day work schedule (7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). The actual date for returning to a four(4) day work week will be determined at a later time.

Reference to winter work:

Field employees will go by the following policy for reporting to work.

If the winter weather report calls for temperatures below 10 degrees, and not rising above 15 degrees, DO NOT report to work. If temperatures are to rise above 15 degrees, contact your foreman, a later start time will be needed.

The official weather station is KDKA 1020 AM.

If you have a computer, you can log onto NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE At this point, you can access weather information by typing in the city and state or zip code.

We do expect common sense to be used on reporting and hope that this will help to keep things a little less confusing. If you need to delay a start for 30 minutes to an hour, you will have to call your foreman. Cold starts on the equipment are very hard on these systems. Extreme cold temperatures can also affect your productivity ... Dress Warm!
